The room was super clean and cozy. Honestly, the bed felt like a cloud, making it easy to sleep soundly. I love that even with the pub below, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The window could be a bit tricky to close fully, but once I did, I hardly heard the traffic outside. Plus, I had all the basics like tea and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. Really comfy overall!

I enjoyed the quirky character of Starboard Stays. The self-check-in process was quick and hassle-free, nice for someone like me traveling solo. Room 15 was comfortable, with tea and coffee supplied, which felt welcoming. The location is fantastic. it's a short walk to the main attractions in Southampton. the noise from the pub below was quite disruptive at night. I also found the stairs challenging, especially with heavy luggage. Communication could be better, as I had some unanswered emails before my stay. A few maintenance issues in the room, like a broken fan, affected my comfort. Staffing was limited. handling everything through messages felt impersonal at times.

The self-check-in process was seamless, and I loved being just a short walk from the waterfront and dining options. Just a heads up, the noise from the pub below can be noticeable, so light sleepers may need to plan accordingly.
